I copied the files brush from another computer at \Presets\Brushes C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 (64-bit) that also has not solved the problem. I tried the option 'reset the brushes', which did not solve the problem. I am currently CS5.5 Photoshop 64-bit and all of a sudden my soft brush Eraser sharp is missing.
